SOCKS & CUSHIONS
These products repel water and water based liquids, only absorbing oils and fuels, they are easily identified by their blue colour.
1) Socks
- Think of them as a portable dam stopping liquids as they flow.
- Small diameter makes them easy to use in the workplace.
- Place around the base of leaking machinery to contain and absorb liquid and stop it spreading into walkways where it can cause a slip hazard.
- Use as part of your spill response program.
2) Cushions
- Line existing drip trays to make them easier to empty, no more spilt liquid when trying to move them.
- Disassemble expensive components such as valves, in situ and not only will you catch any liquid residues but protect the component from damage too.
- Use in conjunction with socks or booms to absorb large amounts of liquid quickly.
